installed 14.04 on new SSD and now can t boot in to it

Common problems:[snip]ALERT! /dev/disk/by-uuid/6ef4e90b-6867-4f41-ac23-afa6ace6fdfe does not exist.Dropping to a shell!Then I get the BusyBox shell (ash)Thanks for any adviceHenry
