Ubuntu 14.04 - OpenVPN - TAP

Here is what I'm trying to do. I have a Servermania VPS that I'm trying to setup OpenVPN on. They use OpenVZ and I have enabled TUN/TAP in the OpenVZ. I installed OpenVPN and can successfully connect from the Windows client. I cannot however ping the server or client. I am using a tap0 interface. I am not able to create a bridge interface since Servermania uses venet interfaces and not vethe. I used iptables commands to forward between tap0 and venet0:0.iptables -P FORWARD DROPiptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -o venet0:0 -j MASQUERADEiptables -A FORWARD -i tap0 -o venet0:0 -j ACCEPTiptables -A FORWARD -i venet0:0 -o tap0 -j ACCEPTHere is server.conf:Code:local ###.###.###.### #public ip address# Which TCP/UDP port should OpenVPN listen on?# If you want to run multiple OpenVPN instances# on the same machine, use a different port# number for each one. My plan is to host a website on the VPS that is only accessible when I VPN in. I can connect but can't ping either client or server.I do not see the tap0 interface in ifconfig either when the client is connected.
