iPhone have a notification feature which rings two message notification when you receive a text message. Disable this feature in Settings -> Notification -> Messages -> scroll down and tap “Repeat Alerts” -> Select “Once” from the list. Done.
You can disable or enable “Show Preview” , text message change notification sound , banner style etc in this screen.
