How to configure stc HG8245Q (Huawei ONT) Modem ?

  • stc Default IP Address of HG8245Q stc modem : 192.168.100.1
  • stc Default user name: telecomadmin
  • stc Password: admintelecom
  • ONT stands for Optical Network Terminal

Follow these steps to configure modem HG8245Q

  1. Connect computer to Modem using the network cable.
  2. Open web browser (Google chrome or Internet explorer) and type address 192.168.100.1 in your browser and press enter key.
  3. Enter the username and password Username: telecomadmin, password : admintelecom
  4. Click on WLAN to enable 2.4G Wireless and 5GHz Wireless Settings
  5. Enter SSID (your Wireless network Name) Select security mode (WPA2) and enter a password for your WiFi.

Wifi Configuration for ONT G-240W-B is same as mentioned above.
