Hissing background sounds can be produced by high pitch sounds that may effect the recorded video quality of your content and results in a poor sound disturbances. There are several sound converters which can also solve this problems but here i am discussing the solution from Windows 10 which is quite easy and may help you to understand better!

In order to remove hissing background sound from video which is mainly caused by some microphone disturbances So, In Windows 10 here is the solution :

STEP 1 : First of all you need to right click on your “Microphone” icon located on bottom right of Windows Task bar and then select “Open Sound Settings“.

STEP 2 : Now on the right side corner you will get a “Sound Control panel” Click over there,

STEP 3 : After that click the “Recording” tab and make sure the microphone is selected over there

STEP 4 : Now right click the “Microphone” (External Microphone if your are using a headset) and select Properties

STEP 5 : Click the Listen tab and turn on Option “Listen to this Device” and then APPLY, after that you can listen to your Microphone voice .

STEP 6 : Now you have to click the “Levels” tab and make sure that Microphone boost should be ZERO and then click on Apply buttin

STEP 7 : In this Step Go to the “Enhancements” and Click “Disable all sounds Effects” and then “Go to the Advanced Tab” and by default it swing like “DVD Quality or Studio Quality” , So you have to select one by one and Click APPLY and check which one is perfect for you.

STEP 8 : After that it almost fix your problem, if anything goes wrong with your Microphone then Click on this “Restore Defaults” and you will get a Default settings for your Microphone.
