Sync your Android with Windows 10 PC should be a breeze, but it’s not without its pitfalls. Here are a couple of tips that can help you get things humming again.

Keep in mind, these tips will likely improve your syncing experience with all your devices, so don’t just limit yourself to Windows 10.

Restart Everything:

If you haven’t done so already, try restarting your phone and your PC. Sometimes a quick reboot is all it takes to fix a number of common issues — and this includes syncing problems.

Check The Basics:

Make sure that both devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network, as they need to communicate over the same network when syncing data. If you’re still having trouble, try plugging in an Ethernet cable directly from your router or modem into your computer. While this won’t help if you’re trying to sync over Wi-Fi, it should work when connecting via USB.

Method Of Syncing With OneDrive:

OneDrive is a cloud storage service that you can use to store documents, photos, and other files. OneDrive works similarly with Dropbox. You can sync files between your devices with it. The steps below will show you how to sync your Android phone to Windows 10

Note: You need to have OneDrive installed before proceeding.

On your Windows 10 PC, open OneDrive by clicking the OneDrive icon in the notification center or searching for it in your apps. If you have not signed in to a Microsoft account yet, click Sign in and enter your Microsoft account information. If you don’t have a Microsoft account, create one by clicking Create a new account at the bottom of the screen.

Once you are signed in, click Add an account in the Account Settings window. Select Google from the list of accounts to add. In the next window, sign in to your Google account using your Gmail address and password. Click “Allow” to allow Windows to access your contacts and calendars from Google. Once you are done adding accounts, click Close.

You should see two folders appear under Favorites on File Explorer: Contacts and Calendar (under This PC). Open each folder to find your files inside them

You Can Also Sync Android Phone Using Windows Media Player:

  • Connect your Android phone to your computer with the USB cable you use to charge the phone
  • On the Start menu, tap Computer.
  • Double-tap the icon for your Android phone. This will open a window on your computer showing the files on your phone.
  • Open another window and browse to where you store music on your computer (for example, My Music). Select the tracks that you want to copy onto your phone and drag them into the window for your phone’s memory card.
