Printer Jobs Get Stuck in Printer Queue. I am running windows 10, Printer jobs are getting blocked in printer queue. When ever i print this error is showing “Error – Printing”.

How to troubleshoot HP Printer Issues?
- Login to Windows as Administrator
- Download HP Print and Scan Doctor for Windows (Click here for direct download from HP)
- Download URL: http://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/HPPSdr.exe
- Make sure your printer/scanner is properly connected to your computer , verify the cable.
- Run HP Print and Scan Doctor as administrator.
- Click the Start button to begin the troubleshooting.
- HP Print & scan doctor software will scan your system for connected HP printers and scanners.
- It will list all HP devices connected to the PC, Select the printer you want to diagnose and click Next.
- In some cases the automatic product search method may fail to find and connect to the printer/scanner. Double check your connection (cable) or connect to a different USB port in your computer and click “Connect“.
- You have to select the connection method you are using to connect the printer/scanner to computer. In his example i selected “USB” .
- In the “Finding and Fixing Problems” screen, two buttons, “Fix printing” and “Fix Scanning” will be displayed.
- Select the appropriate button, here i am selecting “Fix Printing“.
- Now the tool will start the automatic diagnostics.
- In most cases this tool will check and rectify all issues. Like Printer spooler reset , Driver check, Device status, Printer queue, Port etc.
- It may recommend some manual action for eg: if the software or driver is outdated etc.
How To Clear Windows 10 Print Queue Manually ?
Login is as an administrator user, then open Command prompt (press Windows start menu, type in “cmd.exe”).
Stop Printer Spooler Service
Copy this command given below, then paste it in the command prompt window and press enter.
net stop spooler
Delete Files in Printer Queue
Open Windows Explorer (press Windows button on keyboard and E) and navigate to “C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS\”
Select all files and folders in the “Printers” directory and press the Delete button.
Start Printer Spooler Service
Now restart printer spooler service

net start spooler
Commands to clear printer queue
Alternatively, you can clear the printer queue through the command prompt. Copy these commands shown below and paste it into the command prompt (elevated) , then press Enter key.
net stop spooler
del %systemroot%\System32\spool\printers* /Q
net start spooler
