Error description : The device has no drivers installed on your computer, or the drivers are configured incorrectly. (Code 1)

What are the possible causes of error Code 1?

Corrupt drivers, Missing device drivers or incompatible device driver can cause Code 1 error in device manager. Device drivers of such as camera/webcam, printer, scanner, modem, LAN network card/WiFi, Scanners, PDAs or other external devices may cause this error and that device may not function properly. You can use Windows 10 USB troubleshooter to identify and fix the issue related to a USB device.

How to fix error code1 ?

Open Device Manager

Click Start menu-> type “Device manager” -> Click “Device Manager” – see the image below.

Right click the device showing issue -> Click “Properties

Go to “Driver” tab and click “Uninstall Device

Now restart your PC.

Open Device Manager again and click “Scan hardware for change” button. System will check hardware device changes and try to install missing drivers.

Now right click the device in device manager -> Properties -> Driver tab -> then click “Update”

Follow the next step if “Update” driver failed to fix the issue.
