Windows 10 was released in 2015 and it was considered as the last and final version but after 5 years Microsoft decided to launch the new version of Windows 11 for the next generation. Everyone is expecting a lot when it comes to Windows 11 features list. And thanks to Windows 11 insider program we are getting news about some amazing features of Windows 11 you will like for sure.

Windows 11 is designed with not just a new layout but a complete list of new features we will love for sure. We will keep updating this post as new features will be announced by Microsoft. But for now, let’s get started with what we have heard so far about Windows 11 features list:

Android Apps can be used:

The first feature that we are going to tell you is that Windows 11 will support Android apps from the Amazon app store. The current 22000.51 preview build, however, does not include Android app functionality. The ability to install Android apps will be available in future releases, according to Microsoft. In Amazon Appstore, there are nearly 500,000 apps available including the most famous lines like Disney Plus, TikTok, Netflix, Pinterest, Uber, and so much more. However, unfortunately, a user would not be able to download an Android app available in the Google Play Store.

But hold on, there is more. The best thing is that you can use APKs files on your Windows 11. Isn’t that amazing? You will be able to download the apps easily from the Microsoft app store. We all have been trying to download android apps on Windows for a long time and now it will be possible to use those Apps thanks to the coming Windows 11 version.

Windows 11 Widgets:

The widgets feature will be added to the UI in Windows 11, which will be an AI-powered customized feed that slides out to show you information including news, weather, a glance at your calendar, and to-do list, and your recent images.

Widgets are comparable to the news and interests features featured in a recent Windows 10 upgrade. A widgets button may be found on the newly redesigned taskbar. When you click or tap it, a panel will pull out from the left side of your screen with a succession of widgets that provide the information you need at a glance. You can use it on full screen also.

Centered Taskbar:

It’s been heard that Windows 11 will move the taskbar icon to the center, spreading outward as you add new icons, in the category of incredibly tiny changes that will almost certainly generate a lot of debate. If you want to try that arrangement right now, Center Taskbar will just do that.

The software is quite simple, with the option to center the taskbar icons, the start menu icon, or both. It may also conceal the taskbar, albeit in Windows it is already possible to hide the taskbar on the Desktop. Center taskbar doesn’t offer much else outside these very basic capabilities, which is good. There’s no need to bloat your computer merely to obtain a couple of additional functions.

Fast Windows Update:

Because of the background installation technology, Windows 11’s Windows update procedure will be substantially faster. Microsoft has claimed that future Windows updates will be 40% smaller, making the process even more efficient. Furthermore, if an update installation is waiting when restarting your computer, it will display the approximate time required to complete the update. This useful addition will save your time and effort. One of the nicest, if not the best, is the new updating mechanism.

Snap Layout:

Snapping was already fantastic in Windows 10, but Microsoft has taken it to next level with Snap Assist. Snap layouts are the name of this new feature. Now you will see a choice of layout options for the way you choose to place a Window when you hover your mouse pointer over the button of Maximization. You may also use the “Win+Z“, Windows keyboard shortcut to get a snap layout.

Context Menu and Round Corners:

Windows 11 has finally introduced a new context menu that does not have jagged corners. It blends in nicely with the general look of Windows 11. But, as far as I know, there will be no refresh option there. But don’t be concerned.

It is accessible via the “Show more options” button and the F5 key is still functional in Windows 11. In my opinion, the new UI is wonderful, and the new Mica effect utilized for the Windows UI element is fantastic. Aside from that, rounded corners can be found everywhere, and we hope Microsoft maintains this level of consistency as time goes on.

New Start menu:

The new floating Start Menu style is the most distinguishing element of Microsoft’s next-generation desktop OS. Unlike the previous start menu, the new start, as Microsoft refers to it, is located directly in the center of the taskbar. It has a fly-out design with pinned and recommended apps that go hand in hand. So far, the recommendations have been fairly good in my usage. It gives instant access to papers, photos, and programs that I have lately installed.

Aside from that, if you point your mouse over the search option, it will suggest a few apps based on your previous searches. Overall, I believe the new start screen is the best feature of Windows 11. It is quick and intelligently resolves your questions, and provides better results in seconds.

Media Control:

Now in this new window’s new action control, you can control all of your media playbacks. The Action center displays whatever you are watching, whether it’s a YouTube video, a Spotify playlist, a Twitter clip, or a local video. It should be noted when you play a video with VLC, it may not appear there. But it will be shown there if you play the video with any app like “Films and TV”. So Universal media Control is another cool feature of Windows 11.

Minimal Lock Screen:

As we all are excited about the new design and what’s within Windows 11, we would like to point out that the new lock screen on Windows 11 is also outstanding. It uses an acrylic blur in the backdrop, and the new changeable Segoe UI font enhances the effect.  If you don’t want all of the links and recommendations on the Lock screen, you can turn them off. The option is available in settings.

Xbox and Gaming:

To better gaming on your Windows PC, Windows 11 will include capabilities available on Xbox consoles like Auto HDR and Direct Storage. According to Microsoft, Windows 11 will unlock the full power of your system’s hardware, putting some of the greatest gaming technology to work for you. Windows 11 will contain Direct X12 Ultimate, which allows for immersive graphics at high frame rates as well as Direct Storage, which enables for faster load times.

Improvements in Touch keyboards:

We all know that Microsoft eliminated tablet mode from Windows 11, and we are sure that it is for some good reason. It has now created an interface that is compatible with both desktop and tablet form factors. To improve the tablet experience, Windows 11 has made significant changes or improvements to the touch keyboard. This contains theme support, background picture support, the ability to modify font size, typing behavior, and other features. So if you own a Windows tablet, Windows 11 will provide you with an entirely new experience.
