One of the reason for this error is the Microsoft Teams Preview App built-in to the Windows 11 operating system and you have installed full version of MS teams. So it is advised to uninstall both apps Microsoft Teams Preview and Microsoft Teams App, then install the Latest version.
Steps to Fix MS Teams Bad Image Error ?
- Go to Apps > Apps & Features
- Search “Microsoft Teams”
- Click the four dot buttons located in the right side and then select “Uninstall”
- Uninstall both Teams Apps
- Now go to %AppData% and remove these folders if exist
- Teams
- TeamsMeetingAddins
- TeamsPresenseAddin
- Restart the computer
- Download and install latest Microsoft Teams App
Now try to run Teams App.
