How to Increase WordPress Search Result Count?

WordPress shows only 1 or in some cases 10 search results in the search page by default. You can increase or limit the number of results using general settings in WordPress admin panel. Displaying all search results may cause performance and security issues to your website, so we wont advice any programmatic solutions.

Where is the search result settings in WordPress?

1. Login to WordPress using admin id and password
2. Click Settings menu located in the left pane
3. Then click Reading
4. Here you can see “Blog Pages show at most“; Here you can increase or reduce the number of posts displaying in search result page.
5. The click Save Changes
