Microsoft Weather and News Widget on the taskbar offers users a quick way to access the latest news around the world. This feature does provide a very good way to get a brief look at what’s going on across the world, it can be stressful for a few people as each time you move your mouse cursor over this widget, it pops up with a box full of information stories, sports activities scores, and different data from Microsoft News. The feature is by default enabled but you can disable it.
- ENABLE WEATHER WIDGET
To enable the Widgets weather icon in the Taskbar, use these steps:
- Type to search Setting in the Start Menu and Open it.
- Click on Personalization.
- Select the Taskbar page.
- In the Taskbar items section, TURN ON the Widgets toggle switch.
2. DISABLE WEATHER WIDGET
To disable the Widgets weather icon in the Taskbar, use these steps:
- Type to search Setting in the Start Menu and Open it.
- Click on Personalization.
- Select the Taskbar page on the right side.
- In the Taskbar items section, TURN OFF the Widgets toggle switch.
