The first step in customizing your Excel toolbar is to open up Microsoft Office 365 and then click on the “Customize” button on the top right corner of your screen.

1. How to customize the Quick Access Toolbar?

Following are the steps by which you can customize your toolbar easily.

  • Click on File in the Ribbon.
  • Click Options.
  • Click the Quick Access Toolbar.

2. How to add/remove a command from Quick Access Toolbar?

You can add or remove almost any command you want by following these simple steps.

Method of Adding :

  • Search for the option More Commands at the bottom of the list.
  • Now you will see a new menu that gives you a lot of options

  • Click the dropdown button to select Commands Not in the Ribbon,
  • Click on Add to move it to the Toolbar list.
  • Now press Ok to finish.

Method of removing :

  • Right-click on the command from the Toolbar.
  • Now, select Remove from Quick Access Toolbar from the list.

3. How to move the Quick Access Toolbar?

You can change the position of the toolbar by moving it to below the ribbon. Follow these steps;

  • The quick Access Toolbar is usually located in the upper-left corner.
  • Click the downward-facing arrow at the end of the toolbar and select the option Show Below the Ribbon
