METHOD#1: Faulty display of HTML Content in Outlook emails

Emails included with HTML content are not displayed properly.

1. Go to File menu, then click Options -> click Mail menu
2. In the right pane, scroll down to the Message format section.
3. Now, untick the option saying “Outlook Reduce message size by removing format information not necessary to display the message“.

METHOD #2: Change Text Display Issue :

If you are experiencing poorly display text in outlook then follow these steps:

• Search for ClearType in the Search Box
• Now, select Adjust ClearType Text
• Here Click the option Turn on ClearType and hit on Next
• Select any one of the example texts that appear and hit Next
• Click Finish if the text is successfully tuned.

METHOD # 3: Complete Black/White Screen :

Update the drives in the Windows Operating System using these steps.

• Select Settings>Change PC Settings>Windows Update
• Click on Check for Updates option
• Now Go to the video and graphic drivers one by one and install them on your system.
• Wait till the installation is complete
• Reboot the system and now access the Outlook application.

METHOD # 4: Hardware Acceleration in Outlook

Hardware acceleration is a technique that allows the software to take advantage of the computing power available on a computer’s graphics processing unit (GPU) or central processing unit (CPU). Sometimes this process may affect image quality issues in various applications like Outlook. You may try to disable it and check for the result. If it is already disabled try to enable it and restart Outlook to see the result.

Hardware Acceleration is disabled by default through the Microsoft Office program but can be enabled by the user to solve this display issue.

How to disable hardware graphics acceleration in Outlook?

• Go to the File > Options
• Move to File>Options>Advanced
• Make sure under the Display section Disable hardware graphics acceleration is unchecked and hit OK.

Mehtod # 5: Tweak Image Compression & Resolution Settings In Outlook

Outlook has an inbuilt image compression function that will automatically compress images to a certain resolution. This function could be making your images in Outlook blurry. So try to disable the Image compression function in Outlook, otherwise, you can tweak/adjust the default resolution settings too.

How to Disable/Enable Outlooks Image Compression Function?

1. Go to File menu ->Options
2. Click the Mail menu -> then click “Editor Options” button located on the right pane
3. Select the “Advanced” menu and then scroll down to the “Do not compress image in file” option.
4. Untick this option to disable image compression.
5. Change “Default Resolution” settings to a higher resolution (located right below the compression settings.)
