What is the reason for this data type missing?
The workbook may have been created in Excel that has data types built-in, but it may not be compatible with the version of Excel used to open it. This is why you might have to create a new workbook from scratch. For example, with the Excel Web App, you can view the stock cards or any card type. However, with your data types set to Stocks in the workbook you won’t be able to refresh (you’ll have to sign out and back in) or modify any of your card types. To use the new data type, make sure you’re signed in to Excel.

Step 2: Uninstall the Microsoft Office 365 installation from your computer. There should be a folder with a .msi file that contains the installation of Office 365. Double-click the file and then follow the on-screen prompts to uninstall the software.
Step 3: Download Office 365 from https://www.office.com/setup and install it again on your computer.
MAC – Remove the Office folders
- Quit all Office applications
- Press COMMAND +Shift+ g.
- Enter Library and click Go
- Click the Containers folder, find the folder called MicrosoftExcel.com
- Move this folder to your desktop by cutting and paste.
