Most of the time, we came across an error while opening a Docx file on Microsoft Word that states “Word Experienced Errors when Trying to Open the File“.

Solution 1: Add a trusted location on MS Word :
- Open Microsoft Word and go to its File > Options.
- Click “Trust Center” feature from the sidebar and simply open its Trust Center Settings.
- A new panel will open, go to the “Trusted Locations” and choose to add a new location.
- You can click on the “Ok” button after adding the location to save these changes.
Solution 2: Unblock the word document you can’t load :
- Go to the Microsoft Word document, right-click, and go to its “Properties”.
- Select the “General” section, and click on the “Unblock” button at the bottom panel for its security section.
- Click on the “Ok” button.
Solution 3: Repair the MS Word document :
- Open Microsoft Word
- Click Open on Word’s File .
- Go to the Browse or click This PC option.
- Choose the Word document in the error arise.
- Click the Open button small arrow
- Now, Select Open and Repair option.
